The new Loyola School for grades K-4 opened for students on September 2, 2025. This project converted five row homes, built in the 1860s, into a beautiful school. Located in the historic Mount Vernon District of Baltimore.
The unique challenge of this LEAD Silver project was to tie the five row homes, having different elevations, into safe, functioning, ADA-compliant classrooms.
An addition to the back of the buildings was added to create a core for restrooms, administrative offices, elevator and stair tower, along with a multipurpose room and media center.
The completed project is over 30,000 Square feet of modern classrooms to give a state-of-the-art education to the community.
Portions of the facility will be available for limited community functions.
